Very cute and stylish with a friendly waiter from Italy who helped answer our questions about the menu and was happy to give suggestions . All the food was heavenly and came pretty quickly . Don't forget the gelato and hot chocolate!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would happily do! They professionally arranged a table for 26 people (even though our initial booking was for 15), served us nothing but great Italian dishes pretty quick, and figured out how to split bills with no hassle!! Their teamwork was impressive!! 👌👌👌

Came here to carb load for the Philidephia marathon and was recommended by family to go here. I had the Sugo Della Domenica and the meat choices were amazing that pair with the Pasta. The sauce is hard for me to describe but was different from most places but works well with the meal. I would definitely come back for this meal.

The food really is excellent: fonduta, mozzarella e caponata, salad, pasta, and the gelato, to die for. Super wine list. We were in Philly for the weekend, visited twice.

First time here. Italian food was delicious. Drinks very good. The service phenomenal. They have a Cafe first floor and restaurant upstairs, very busy place.

I found this place on a whim through Postmates ..saved it bc I had just placed another order and came back to it .....I can't express the amount of appreciation I have for that decision I intended to only order desert bc like the previous night I had already placed a separate order...I ended up getting an appetizer and two desserts and cannot wait to eat my way through the whole menu! Whoever is making the food is putting their heart and soul into every plate (and that's saying something for delivery) each dish is a masterpiece by itself ...put together it's a meal like no other ....the menu is extensive and I am envisioning myself on a balmy spring day dining on their patio watching the people pass by .....I am very excited ☺️

Another beautiful event at Gran Café L’Aquila for our annual department dinner. For the second year in a row, their team made the planning process incredibly easy, assisting with the delicious menu, wine selections, setup, and flawless service. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. There’s nothing better than hosting an event and being able to truly enjoy it alongside everyone else.

Stopped in for lunch and it was delicious. Adding to my Philly go to's. The lunch scene for pre happy hour was as expected, a city rush with an exciting vibe. Our waiter added a special touch with helping us correct our pronunciations since we made the efforts. 😉 The food was delicious and gelato was delectable.

We stopped here for an early lunch on a whim and glad we did! They were able to easily accommodate us since it was a weekday. The hostess and the waiter were warm, welcoming and attentive. The dining space is upstairs and quite cozy. We had pasta - seafood wrapped in pasta which was delicious and different, and gnocchi which was tender with a lovely cream sauce. We had wine, coffee and dessert as well. The cost was quite reasonable for all we had. We hope to visit again!

The result is a juice that is remarkably sweet, without the need for added sugars or artificial ingredients. This bright yellow juice boasts a slight sour note, balanced by the inherent sweetness of Fuji apples. The bouquet is fresh and intense, reflecting the ripe fruit from which it is derived. The Blood Orange is a variety of orange with crimson, almost-blood-colored flesh. The fruit is roughly the same size as an average orange, but sometimes can be smaller or larger; its skin is usually pitted, but can be smooth. The distinctive dark flesh color is due to the presence of anthocyanin, a family of antioxidant pigments common to many flowers and fruit, but uncommon in citrus fruits. Blood oranges have a unique flavor profile compared to other oranges, being distinctly raspberry-like in addition to the usual citrus notes. The arancia rossa di Sicilia (red orange of Sicily) has protected geographical status.

A must try for chocolate lovers!! A step back in time and chocolate history. The chocolate of Modica is made in small batches following an Aztec recipe brought over by the conquistadors hundreds of years ago in the town of Modica, Sicilia. Originally known as “xocóatl”, a product that the people of Mexico obtained from cocoa beans crushed on a stone called “metate”, which released the cocoa butter and obtain a grainy paste. The process was taught to locals in Modica, without passing to the industrial stage. In cold processing, the cocoa does not pass through the phase of conching: the cocoa paste is processed at 40° with added granulated sugar; failing to melt or blend, the sugar gives the chocolate of Modica the characteristic “rough” appearance of the grainy texture. It is made today the same way it has been made for centuries. Enjoy a unique and decadent chocolate experience.

Venezia 1580: The historic first coffee beans brought to Italy. This single origin replicates the original coffee beans brought by Venetian merchants and Propsero Alpino from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia where the arabica tree first grew. In 1580 Venetian Prospero Alpini brought the first sacks of Ethiopian Arabica coffee to Venice. At first used for medicinal purposes due to their incredible properties of promoting alertness and focus. By the mid 1600s the first coffee houses opened in Venice and in 1720 the first true opulent caffè called Florian opened on Piazza Santa Marco ushering in thousands of other caffès on the Italian Peninsula and beyond. The lineage of this coffee history in Venice and Europe begins with the coffee beans in this bag. These exquisite coffee beans produce an aromatic and refined coffee with fruity notes of berries and citrus integrated with beautiful acidity, orange blossom and silky-smooth chocolate and caramel notes
